Expert Insights

The thinking behind the finish.

A few of the questions we’re asked most — answered plainly.

Why does preparation matter more than the coating?

Adhesion fails without a proper mechanical key. We diamond-grind to open the concrete so the resin bonds permanently — skipped preparation is the single biggest reason coatings peel.

How long before the floor can be used?

Most systems are walk-ready in about a day, with vehicles and heavier use returning over the following few days. We confirm exact timings for your floor and conditions.

Flake, metallic or solid — how do I choose?

Flake adds texture, grip and hides imperfections, ideal for garages and workshops. Metallic gives depth and movement for interiors. Solid is clean and minimal. We guide you by how the space is used.

Will it hold up to the Gold Coast climate?

Yes. The systems we install are built for heat and humidity. Correct preparation and moisture management are the keys, which we assess on site before quoting.

Is an epoxy floor slippery when wet?

A smooth high-gloss surface can be. Decorative flake and anti-slip additives provide grip — we match the finish to the way each space is used.
